Serendipity means making an unexpected discovery. This campsite has been our serendipity, what if it became yours? To find out, come and stay in an authentic setting, and live to the rhythm of nature at Camping Sérendipité!
Our 3-star campsite in the Cantal region is planted with trees. Here, we can only hear the birds sing, and enjoy a sublime view over the Truyère valley and the typical village of Neuvéglise. The campsite is surrounded by meadows, where there are cows and horses. We’re in a very natural but not isolated setting, which makes it a real paradise!
In our small, human-scale campsite, we offer 35 bare pitches, 9 chalets without sanitary facilities and 2 unusual Pods with every comfort. We also have brand-new sanitary facilities with dedicated cabins for disabled people, babies and children.
Our commitment to the environment at the campsite
We are committed to operating our campsite as ecologically as possible : it’s not a question of fashion, but of personal conviction.
Our commitments range from waste management, to the reduction of energy consumption, to the choice of our suppliers (eco-certified cleaning products, accommodation made in France in a responsible manner, etc.).
We also favor short circuits for our groceries and snacks, giving priority to local and/or organic producers.
What’s more, we make our customers aware of the importance of ecology and respect for the environment (both within the campsite and in the surrounding countryside).

The campsite is open all year round! Our beautiful département has something to keep you busy in every season: in spring and summer you can explore the hiking trails, and in autumn and winter you can discover the ski resort or go snowshoeing.
We’re also well known for listening to the stag’s burr in September-October, and for fishing from March to September.
What’s more, there’s a spa less than 15 minutes from the campsite, so you can take care of your health while discovering our magnificent département.

The Sérendipité campsite boasts an exceptional geographical location: it’s right next to the splendid Truyère gorges, but on top of that it’s just a stone’s throw from the Aubrac regional park and the Parc régional naturel des volcans d’Auvergne. This makes it an ideal, strategic starting point for discovering the wonders of these two exceptional parks, without wasting time and energy changing accommodation: it’s a real base camp!
You’ll also have access to the amazing town of Saint-Flour in 15 minutes, a city of art and history, with all its amenities.

When is the campsite open?
The Sérendipité campsite is open all year round for the Pods and the new “le Cerf” chalet.
The camping area (cabins and pitches) closes on 03/11/2024 and will reopen from 04/04/25 to 02/11/25.
Are there any animations?
Yes, we offer a free tasting of local cheeses and we occasionally hold pancake and aligot evenings…
In July and August, there are several activities at the campsite: shiatsu, yoga, landart, massages, etc…
Is wifi free and available throughout the estate?
Free wifi is available throughout the campsite.
Are sheets and towels included?
No, sheets and towels are available at an extra charge, so you can bring your own.
Is your campsite pet-friendly?
Yes, pets are allowed in all areas of the campsite, provided they are kept on a leash.
Pets are also allowed in all our accommodation!
Your pooches will be welcomed with a little treat 😉
