Campsite reception

Thecampsite reception is open every day from 8am to 12pm and from 3pm to 7pm, except in July and August when we open from 8am to 12pm and from 4pm to 8pm. Here you’ll find information on what to do, a small grocery store and souvenirs.

The Sérendipité campsite is well laid out, with a large flat terrace giving each pitch a beautiful view over the valleys.

What’s more, the land is planted with trees, half of it fully shaded and the other half semi-shaded, so you’ll have the choice of setting up wherever you like.

Camping Sérendipité offers local and/or organic takeaway snacks all year round: breakfasts, picnics, aperitifs and drinks.

What could be more pleasant after a day of activity than relaxing on the campsite terrace, with an aperitif board of local charcuterie and cheeses, and a cool drink?

All our services for your comfort

Our aim is to offer you as many services as possible, so that you enjoy your stay at Camping Sérendipité. That’s why we’ve set up wifi, a laundry, a grocery store, a bread depot, a pet-friendly reception area and a large outdoor communal area.

Stay connected with the campsite wifi

The campsite is connected to the wifi network throughout the grounds, with very high-speed fiber optics.

We also have a back-up 4G internet access box, in case of network failure. So you’ll always have Wifi access at the Sérendipité campsite, for entertainment or work.

The common area for a relaxing break

Theoutdoor communal area features a large wooden terrace, with a shaded area under canisses. It features a chill-out lounge and tables. We provide aromatic herbs for your meals. In short, you won’t want to leave this pleasant place.

Laundry facilities on the campsite

For your convenience, we provide a washing machine and tumble dryer. This service will make your vacation a whole lot easier – no more chores! For the more motivated, laundry bins are available so you can do your washing by hand.

Even more comfort with our additional services

Among our other services, a barbecue area is freely accessible, because a camping vacation without a barbecue is unthinkable!
Also, at reception, we sell souvenirs and lend out books, board games and outdoor games (molky, giant mikados …): plenty of fun for the whole family!

Shops near the campsite

Just a 5-10 minute walk from the campsite takes you to the typical Auvergne village of Neuvéglise, where you’ll find all the shops, restaurants and pharmacies you need to make everyday life more convenient! This proximity is a real asset, while remaining far from roads, in a calm, natural setting.

Travel with your pet

Dogs, cats and other furry creat ures are of course welcome to stay at the campsite, in chalets and on pitches. No maximum number, no maximum weight and category 2 dogs allowed. Pets must be kept on a leash, their vaccinations must be up to date (kennel cough vaccine recommended) and they may not be left unattended in rentals.

The bread depot

We offer a local bread deposit service from the village baker and a bakery producing organic sourdough bread baked over a wood fire. So you don’t have to go anywhere, you can enjoy your breakfast right on your own plot/chalet.

Grocery store on the campsite

We offer a small grocery store at the campsite reception. You’ll find all the essentials, with mainly organic and/or local products. This will help you out without having to leave the campsite – very practical! For more choice, there’s a grocery store in the village.

Compete in a game of pétanque

A vacation without a game of pétanque? Impossible, it’s a sacred ritual! Take advantage of the newly laid-out pétanque court, with its splendid view over the valley. If several players want to compete, we can organize tournaments.

Don’t forget your balls!

Playground for your children

Camping Sérendipité has just installed a brand new playground for your children, so they can meet up and have fun. The structures are top-quality, with a spring and a multi-game slide accessible from age 1. The play area has the most shock-absorbing floor covering, so no more injuries!

Starting point for a hike from the campsite, the famous Rochegonde route

There’s a short hiking trail from the campsite: la voie de Rochegonde (15 km). For long-distance walkers, the Sérendipité campsite is a great stopover, as it’s located on the GRP tour de la Planèze (114 km), which in turn links up with the GR400.
